date: 2013
location: Sandomierz, Poland
The project was to create a house for a small family. Apart from the family’s needs and the legal conditions that had to be met, the most significant influences on the building shape were the topography of the lot and the location in the historical district of Sandomierz, Poland.
The building was fit into a slope and from the side of the street appears to be a single story building. The overall shape of the structure consisted of separate segments – a daytime zone, sleeping zones, and garage. A gabled roof with ceramic tiles and the use of bricks refer to traditional architecture of Sandomierz.
